The Touchdown Rider

So, you all know that Titus' birthday is getting very close. Our sweet neighbors gave him his presents early. They are super fun! Here are some pictures to prove how much Titus loves them (the neighbors AND the gifts!!!) Thank you Ms. Fay and Mr. Louis!
"I always open my cards first!"Here's Titus, the proud new owner of a "Touchdown Rider" (it's a football with wheels)!
I'm going so fast that the pictures turned out blurry!

What's Right Wih That?

I enjoy the Shepherd Press Blog. Check out their latest post here encouraging families to make decisions based on what is right about something--instead of the popular "what's wrong with that?" process.

Here's a sneak peak:
The Christian life is much more than avoiding negative things. It is primarily about engaging in thoughts and activities that bring honor to God--things that enhance His reputation here on earth. As Christians and as members of Christian families our focus should be on pursuing the honor of God in all we do, rather than simply attempting to avoid negatives. Look at Colossians 3:17 in this light:

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

It's great! So go check it out!

Also see some adorable fawns and bunnies here.

And of course, a picture of Titus to keep you reading. He was trying on some new clothes--a little big still, but cute anyway! More to follow soon!

Happy 4th of July

Hope you all had a Happy Fourth! We had a super time with my sis and her family. We saw some great fireworks on Friday night at the Lake. Titus enjoyed them for the most part, but it was very hot! REAL Hot! So he was a little fussy and we were on the dock, so he couldn't get down and run around (or crawl around I guess you would say!) We spent some time at the pool and went to the zoo too. That is always a good time! Titus really enjoyed the fish and Jaylen and Corey enjoyed the snakes! We grilled a lot, played outside a lot and Jaylen and Corey had their first game of golf on a "real" golf course. It was a good time. Titus set the baby world record for giggling this weekend too--he laughed and laughed at Uncle Jason until he had tears in his eyes! It was hilarious! Mr. T really enjoyed himself as well. This morning we finished off the trip with a big breakfast at the local cafe. We laughed as it is the only place I have ever seen that you can order a side of pork chop off the breakfast menu!!!!

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house last weekend for a spur of the moment surprise visit. Meemaw hasn't been feeling well, so we went to cheer her up and work some puzzles with her. Titus took one of his puzzles along so he could join in on the fun. It was a good time and Titus really enjoyed Grammy's FISHES! Their new puppy, Chloe, was also a big hit. It's a close race as to who has more energy--Chloe or Titus!

Update on Titus:
* 6 Teeth
* 22 pounds, 8 ounces
* 28 1/2 inches tall
* Can stand for a couple of seconds!
* Can crawl super mega fast!!!
* Makes lots of fun sounds and syllables and loves to smile and laugh!
His birthday is approaching and we cannot believe it! Watch for more pics!At Grandma's house....Watching the fish...
