Titus' Birthday

Well, Titus turned ONE on Friday! It was very fun to celebrate and thank God for the wonderful year we've had. We celebrated on his actual bday with the wedding for Uncle Michael and Aunt Danna and were able to see lots of family and friends. Titus attempted to pull an all-nighter (see picture in previous post) on Thursday night just as he did for us a year ago. Nonetheless, that was a wonderful night and then morning when he finally arrived! Praise God for His countless blessings!
After we arrived back home, we had a party for Titus with a small group of friends (OK, we actually invited nearly everyone we know--so we had a nice crowd!) Titus enjoyed his first Cheetoh (which he just took off of my plate and helped himself too--but hey--it's his party!) He also had his first piece of cake, although I think he enjoyed the Cheetoh most of all. And the plate the cake was on. Dad cooked ranger dogs and I was very thankful for all the sweet people who helped with the food, clean up, taking pictures--everything! Thank you Whitney, Grandma and Grandpa, Fay and Louis, Merry and all of you who cleaned up. A big THANKS to Dad for cooking the ranger dogs and keeping the food moving! I mostly served as Titus' ride around all evening, which was fun to have the guest of honor on my hip! We played in the water some and enjoyed visiting with all of Titus' friends. We had a teddy bear beach party cake and cupcakes!!! In spite of my best efforts, you don't want to know how many kids put their hands on that cake before we cut it!
